David Soto-Oñate, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Vigo and a researcher affiliated with the Post-growth Innovation Lab and ECOBAS. Previously, he was a Fulbright researcher at the Ostrom Workshop (Indiana University) for two years. From the perspectives of Institutional and Ecological Economics, his research addresses a range of topics related to economic development and the sustainable governance of natural resources, including fisheries, climate change, circular economy, and oil transport pollution. His current research endeavor revolves around the polycentric governance of a post-growth social order. He is also principal investigator of the project ARCA (Towards an Appropriate Climate Responsibility) funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
