Giorgos Kallis

Research Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)

Giorgos Kallis is an ecological economist and political ecologist, currently coordinating alongside Julia Steinberger and Jason Hickel the REAL ('A Post growth deal') project funded by an ERC synergy grant. He has degrees in environmental policy, environmental engineering, and economics, and he is the author of 'Limits' (Stanford University Press, 2019) and 'The case for degrowth' (Polity Press, 2020).
